My thanks to Leon for translating this on commission, though some minor changes were done from his script.
A very dramatic story and as usual, it does fit so well as an alternative story in this manga from our Yaoist point of view.
So someone noticed(not here though):
Well there's a scene right when Erwin is waking up from his conversation with Dad/Levi where he shows both arms after spotting Levi and first, I thought, it could be an error from the artist, but I've noticed she uses frames with jagged edges and shadowing when stating a dreamlike scene(refer to Curtain call). The way this manga is developing I would not be surprised to find out that Erwin is a shifter, what do you think?.Maybe Hitomi is starting to think this could be a possibility, who knows.
His father seems to have known a lot about the secrets of their world, for which he was sentenced to death and Erwin has yet not attempted to hurt himself. Maybe there's more than memories required to initiate the shifting process?.
Interesting facts that seem to suggest this: It looks like Ackerman's family members tend to form strong attachments(almost like a love relationship) to shifters.The shifter seems to be very purposeful and opinionated but Ackerman seems to be able to control them to some extent.
If this is what's going to happen I'm terribly sorry for spoiling your fun, other than that, that would be an interesting development.
